Gay Marriage's

Ya better check , Va trails badly in the "law " part. And making an issue the size of Rhode Island out of gays marrying, just makes the real world harder to deal with. I guess if we had got'em all in the Salem witch trails this wouldn't happen. If you spend all your time fighting gays how much do you have left to deal with the rest ? Like the story in the local paper about the little girl whose daddy was going to Iraq for his second deployment. Who is screwing who? I hear the dollars rolling into Texas. Which is the greater evil?

Like i have said to each their own.
What some of you are learning with topics like these.
Is life. Things you don't discuss at the adult level that lead to huge arguments in some circles.
Religion and Politics are always two hot items. And all can be intertwined.
They create what you have going on here. Debate and sometimes people getting angry.
As for me folks can do what they want. And they will whether your for it or against it.

Here is a question for everyone on both sides of the issue If Gay marrage is OKed then why not Poligame(sp?) If all parties agree why not have several Wifes/Husbands

So I don't think this particular argument against gay marriage is applicable.

And the polygamy thing...another good point. While I personally think it's extremely weird, is detrimental to women, and a bad practice in general, why is it that the states can dictate the law against it? dunno. not gonna go and try to make it legal though!
My theory is, if I don't like polygamy I won't practice it.

That one fellow in Utah? Nevada? that they got for polygamy afforded his wives by legally marrying them, divorcing them, and having them go on welfare (their welfare check was added to the 'family' pool of welfare checks)

there are also some asexual organisms that reproduce, bringing animals in the picture I have also seen some fooling around with animals of the same sex......may then burn for their behaviors......

My point is using the Bible as a means and saying it is a sin is a valid point for many due to the Christian beliefs, and yes this country was founded on that. It was also founded on the fact that they would be a "melting pot" and no religion would be condemned......Many things are sins it don't stop people from doing it, not just the addictions of alcohol, nicotine, other drugs (caffeine (who here has that one)) But others too......adultery, cursing mom and dad, cursing period......if you are gonna ban one you should ban them all.
